The Daily Paintworks challenge to help Japan was a huge success.  Thank you to everyone who visited the site, and a special thanks to the anonymous bidders. I'm sure many of my friends supported me in this cause.

I've decided to donate another painting to help the earthquake victims.  This painting shows a tiny house and even tinier doghouse that I stumbled upon during a stroll last week in Breckenridge.

Intrigue, 9"x13"

Maria is a student at Mainstreet who came in to model for us on a cold icy evening.  With her beret and level stare, she reminds me of a beautiful undercover agent who could shoot you if you rubbed her the wrong way. Of course, in real life, she's nothing like this, but it's fun to imagine...

Homegrown Beauty, 8" x 8" SOLD

I painted this small painting while I was thinking about Japan and what it must mean to lose your home and sense of well being all at once.  I'm donating the proceeds from this painting to the American Red Cross for Japan relief.
