January Sunset, 8x8"

Here in Illinois, there isn't a whole lot to look at other than snow these days.  Sometimes the sunlight makes wonderful patterns that are quite dazzling.  This is the scene outside my back window today.

The Daily Paintworks challenge to help Japan was a huge success.  Thank you to everyone who visited the site, and a special thanks to the anonymous bidders. I'm sure many of my friends supported me in this cause.

I've decided to donate another painting to help the earthquake victims.  This painting shows a tiny house and even tinier doghouse that I stumbled upon during a stroll last week in Breckenridge.
